Fish is a major source of protein for people around the world, and the demand for fish and fish products is growing rapidly. In order to meet this demand, the production of fish needs to be increased, and this requires proper management practices. This article provides an overview of fish production and management, including the methods used to increase fish production, the challenges facing the industry, and the strategies used to manage fish populations. Fish production can be increased in several ways, including aquaculture and fisheries management. Aquaculture involves the breeding, rearing, and harvesting of fish in controlled environments, while fisheries management involves the regulation of wild fish populations in order to maintain their sustainability.
